At the time of booking
- Give your flight number, not just the time — it lets the operator track delays
- Confirm which terminal, especially at Mumbai where T1 and T2 are far apart
- Ask what the free waiting period after landing is
- Confirm whether airport parking and entry charges are included or extra
- Check luggage capacity if you are carrying more than two large bags
The night before
You should receive the driver name, mobile number and vehicle registration. If you have not received it by bedtime, call the operator. That single check prevents most of the 4 am panic calls we hear about from travellers who used someone else.
